Introducing the ITS Project Request Program

The Information and Technology Services department (ITS) collaborates with other college departments on a variety of technology related projects. This new system will better enable us to manage the projects and priorities faced by college faculty and staff members.

Should I submit an ITS Project Request or a Help Ticket?
If your issue is related to an error message that is appearing, WiFi/Internet access, or anything to do with a PC, printer, or other hardware component, then please click here to Submit a Help Ticket to the TSC.

ITS Projects are typically those that require ITS involvement to implement custom-programmed or vendor-written software components, in support of department or campus-wide initiatives.

ITS Project Requests are reviewed by ITS and department managers in order to prioritize the ITS project queue.

Update your Apple devices

High priority

TSC is recommending every faculty, staff, and student immediately update their Apple devices to the latest version in order to address a security flaw that can result in an attacker taking control of an affected device. More information can be found by visiting:

Faculty and Staff managed iPads and Macs will receive a notification to update, unmanaged devices will need to update manually.

Transitioning from Backup and Sync to Drive for Desktop

High priority

Google is phasing out Backup and Sync in favor of Google Drive for Desktop.  In order to ensure you are still backing up to your Google Drive, you will need to upgrade to Google Drive for Desktop.
